Why The Summit
As an educator preparation and development organization, The Educator Academy is focused on cultivating and sustaining empowered educators to create equitable classroom experiences for all students. The Summit originated in response to development support requests from our educators. This event has expanded, leading to this city-wide innovative gathering.
Our vision is that The Summit is grounded in community, connection, and content. Great things are happening in education and we want to connect educators to the resources and community they need to be effective in the classroom. This educator conference in Kansas City is meant to provide engaging resources to educators both in and outside of the classroom. If you didn’t make it to The Summit this year, we hope to have you next year as we envision the future of education in Kansas City!

The Summit 2023
