Earn a stipend

Because of the value of essential mentor skills, we compensate cooperating teachers with a stipend of $430.

As a cooperating teacher, you have the opportunity to widen that influence by empowering a fellow with effective and responsive teaching practices through modeling instructional practices and facilitating fellow reflection. Interested in this opportunity? Check the requirements below to see if this is a good fit for you!

  • 3 year minimum teaching experience; have taught at your host school for +1 year
  • Certified in content area being taught
  • Committed to collaborating with a fellow for entire school year
  • Capacity and willingness to engage in MEES ratings with feedback and support of the fellow’s education and growth
  • Willingness to open their room for observations by the fellow
